The New Orleans Pelicans are still in pursuit of their first victory of the season. The young Pelicans team has had a few injuries, but has continued to battle night in and night out. A few bright spots on this roster include Anthony Davis and the Pelicans first-round pick in the 2016 draft, Buddy Hield. Hield starred collegiately at Oklahoma receiving many awards throughout his four year career. He was named the conference player of the year in back-to-back seasons, not to mention his senior year winning four major player of the year awards. Hield has continued to impress on and off the court, and is making history becoming the 5th Bahama born player to compete in the NBA.
