Elena Delle Donne made her 2016 season debut with a game-high 28 points along with 6 rebounds, however the Sky fell to the defending WNBA champion Minnesota Lynx this afternoon.

The Lynx got off to a hot start and despite giving up the lead down the stretch, they managed to pull away with the score of 97-80.

Maya Moore led the way with 22 points on 7 of 12 shooting from the field. Former Chicago Sky star Sylvia Fowles, now with the Lynx, pitched in with a monster double-double having 24 points and 13 boards.
