Chicago Sky 2016 Home Opener Recap

Playing without reigning 2015 WNBA MVP Elena Delle Donne, the Chicago Sky buckled down defensively, and kicked off the 20th season of the WNBA with an impressive victory.

The Sky defeated the Connecticut Sun 93-70 in front of a packed crowd at the Allstate Arena this evening. The impressive back-court duo of Courtney Vandersloot and Cappie Pondexter led the way combining for 27 points. Not to mention the stellar play of the Sky's bench and their ability to crash the glass.
